Foodie Friday: Il Leone Mastrantonio
Founded in 1996, Il Leone Mastrantonio is a must for any Italian cuisine enthusiast. Located in Green Point, the beautifully decorated restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and, our favourite part, mouth-watering desserts including delectable tarts topped with fresh fruit, homemade gelato Italian ice cream, and Nutella crepes. You know you want some.
The restaurant doubles as a private event venue with on-call waitrons, florists and suppliers to assist. Visitors can check out a walk-in wine cellar, a private bar and dining room. The friendly staff will happily help organise a function based on your desired theme, budget or guest count – just give them a shout.
We’re sure you’ll be pleased to know that Il Leone Mastrantonio also sells their own products; after dinner, you can grab some authentic Italian coffee, biscuits, sauces and soups to enjoy in the comfort of your own home on these chilly winter evenings.
