Step One – Create a Page
The first step you need to take is to create a page for your business. Go tohttps://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php to get started.
Once you visit this page you will notice that Facebook gives you six different page types to choose from. Pick the one that best fits your business.
After you have selected the page type you want, fill in your business name, along with the other required fields and click Get Started.
Facebook will then suggest that you add a profile picture and fill out some basic information about your page. You may choose to fill it out now, or skip these steps and do it later.

Once you have finished customizing your page, make sure to invite all your friends to like your page as well.

Step Two – Get Noticed
While inviting your friends to like your page is great, the ultimate goal of your Facebook page is to attract new customers and generate more buzz about your business.
To attract more attention to your page, checkout some of these cool Facebook plugins and add a few to your website.

To really get your page noticed, spend a little money on Facebook Ads. Facebook allows you to choose your target audience by location, age, and interests. They even let you set a daily budget for your ads, which comes in handy if you’re working with a low marketing budget.
Step Three – Stay Active
The key to your Facebook success is staying active. Make sure to post new content regularly and let your viewers know when you have new products out or promotional deals going on.
If you sell a product, post pictures of it. Encourage people to leave comments and provide feedback. Include helpful tips or tricks in your posts. Your clients will greatly appreciate any insight you can give them.
Remember to be creative and stay connected. Facebook is a great tool to market your business. So get out there and update that status!
