Choosing a design agency

Each design agency has cultivated its own personality over time. As a design agency in Cape Town, we at Pure Creative understand how difficult it can be for potential clients to find exactly what they are looking for.

Have results in mind.

What do you want your website and internet marketing to achieve? Think about the aims and goals of the business and how you are going to measure success. Choose a design studio you think presents itself well, because that means you will probably like the way they present you.

Know what you want to achieve along the way.

Do you want to generate more leads, increase online sales, impact brand awareness, or just be more accustomed with your customer base? On the other hand, if your business is new, you will just be building brand awareness, providing information about your services/products, and educating possible clients about what you are offering.

Ask yourself what kind of deal are you looking for at a design studio or branding agency.

If you are in pursuit of a simple once-off logo, then you probably will not have to look too far. However, if you are looking at completing a larger project with the design agency then you need to research and ask questions. Are your design requirements simple or complex? What kind of relationship are you looking for? How are you going to be using the logo and what longevity do you expect it to have?

Consider your budget.

Creating a properly researched and well-thought out logo takes time. Make sure the design agency you choose has the right experience in branding. Ask to see some past projects of theirs and get familiar with the service they provided their previous clients with.

Don’t live on the edge and go for the cheapest company.

The better advertising agencies are always worth an extra buck. Invest in something you know will make you proud in the years to come. Most of the time, pricier agencies are the busiest ones – and they are busy because their work is up to standard.

Ultimately, the agency you choose needs to dig deep and ask questions about your business, as well as your industry. Trust your instincts and choose a company you feel most comfortable with. After all, you can’t go wrong with a leading creative agency like Pure.

We’d be happy to offer you a one-on-one consultation to discuss your needs around working with a design agency. Get in touch with us if you have any questions.
