Scatec Solar is an integrated independent solar power producer, delivering affordable, rapidly deployable and sustainable sources of clean energy worldwide. They are headquartered in Oslo, Norway and and were the first solar company to set up a solar power plant under the South African government's call to establish renewable energy resources.

The publication covers the establishment and the opening of the three plants that Scatec Solar built from 2012 to 2017, interspersed with photos the communities they benefit and photography of the region by Dirk Pieters.
